New Google Pixel could come with a full touch back

Google could add a full touch back to the new Pixel coming soon next autumn. Users may interact with the same for additional Android features. Here’s what a mountain view company says.

Google’s new Pixel could come up with something new and exciting, especially for the interaction it might have with users. Yes, because according to a patent submitted by Google to the US office, the Mountain View company might have the intention of putting in the back of the new smartphone a fully touch panel that users can use to perform some activities.

Clearly, this is not a novelty for the smartphone industry, but certainly an interesting feature that thanks to an optimization of Android software may prove to be very useful.

The Google patent shows the presence of a slightly concave back that at the touch of the user can allow interaction especially based on the application used. This way, for example, we could get controls for music or maybe for photo galleries or even to scroll through a text page. Not only because the new touch part could also allow you to draw letters or numbers, and then set inputs to Android.

It is obvious that such an innovation may even be a simple idea and may never be implemented in the new Pixel. Certainly, it does not seem to be so bad at first as it is already present in the existing Pixel of a Glass Back that could then be replaced with the new touch panel.

We’ve seen just a few days ago how rumors about new Google devices propose top-of-the-range technical specifications with the possibility of using a fully borderless display on the fake line of Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ or Apple’s future iPhone 8.
