Olympus SH-1 – Superzoom pocket with vintage look

” Olympus renews its range of compact superzoom pocket with SH-1 Stylus reminiscent in appearance mirrorless PEN and OM-D.”  It looks like a PEN is a compact but this could be a summary of the definition of the new Olympus SH-1. The aesthetic is picked up by one of the mirrorless vintage Japanese manufacturer, while the heart is that of a compact superzoom pocket.

The optical 24x is indeed able to cover the equivalent focal range of 25-600mm – f/3.0-6.9 – with a good wide angle and zoom in at the start of those hard to point at the opposite end.

Viewpoint video support comes to the format Full HD 1080 60p (with a chance to take photos while recording at full resolution), but going down to 720p you can shoot up to 120 fps, 240 fps coming too.

The display has been 3-inch  diagonal and a resolution of 460,000 dots offers touchscreen support. Among other, specifications are Wi-Fi connectivity with the remote control from smartphones and tablets.

Among other data plate option for shooting in the interval, the burst at 11 fps in full resolution, full manual mode, the ability to display on the automatic level.
