Sonos presents Amp, the amplifier to have the Sonos features on all speakers
Sonos has announced Amp, an amplifier that can supply up to 125 W of power per channel, combining the functionality of the application and the Sonos services. Sonos Architectural speakers are also presented.
The most interesting element in smart speakers is the ability to manage them easily and to be able to use music streaming services in a simple way. Sometimes, you want to have superior sound quality while maintaining the same capabilities. Sonos has introduced for this purpose Sonos Amp, an amplifier capable of delivering up to 125 watts per channel to its favorite speakers, keeping the features of Sonos.
Sonos Amp guarantees compatibility with the Sonos application used to control all the other devices of the company, as well as with AirPlay 2. Amp works like a normal receiver that can manage multiple sources and can be connected to televisions, turntables and readers digital. It also provides the ability to recover files from sources located in the same local network.
The connections available are varied and allow complete connectivity: in addition to the network connection via an Ethernet port is an HDMI input port, as well as an RCA input. There is also a subwoofer output. The HDMI port uses HDMI ARC technology, which allows you to manage only the audio signal and is useful if you want to use Amp with a TV.
