Toshiba announces the new Portege and Tecra laptops for business users

Toshiba renews its offer of laptops premium Z series with new models Portege Z20t-C, Portege Z30-C, Tecra Z40-C and Tecra Z50-C. Based on Intel Core CPU of the sixth generation and screens with diagonal 12.5″, 13.3″, 14″ and 15.6″, improve performance and battery life.

Toshiba renews the Z series, which includes laptops premium facing corporate users, announcing the renewed versions of the Portege and Tecra models. It is a selection of business notebook that can satisfy different needs, thanks to the different form factor: it starts from the Portege Z20t-C with screen 12.5″ and you get the Tecra Z50-C with a 15.6″ display.

All models support Intel Core processors of the sixth generation with Skylake architecture, thanks to which the bar of performance is raised and reduced power consumption.

Do not miss some devices introduced to meet the needs of businesses: all the traditional clamshell models of the Z series are equipped with common docking, have the same software image and the same AC adapter, which makes it even easier to integrate within the company.

Specifically, the models in the Z series to date include :

Portege Z20t-C with a 12.5″ display
Portege Z30-C with 13. 3″ display
Tecra Z40-C with a 14″ display
Tecra Z50-C with a 15.6 ” display.

Thanks hardware renewed, the new portable Toshiba Z are able to offer a range up to four times higher than that of the previous generation. Portege Z20t-C, the group of model more voted to mobility and can be used both as Ultrabook, both as a tablet, may also benefit from the new USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 1 and autonomy slightly less than 19 hours (measured value using MobileMark 2014).

Even Portege Z30-C is placed in the ultra-mobile range, it grows the diagonal of the display, but the self-declared record is worth mentioning values with about 16 hours (measured value using MobileMark 2014).

The Tecra Z40-C is the model that provides a good balance between performance and portability, comes with a 14″ screen, now also available with FullHD resolution, and promises a range of up to 15 hours (measured value using MobileMark 2014).

Closes the range Tecra Z50-C, the laptop Toshiba Z with the larger screen (15.5″ ) and equipped with an integrated optical drive (optional), four USB ports and backlit keyboard.

The new laptops Toshiba Z versions will be available during the first quarter of 2016 in configurations based on Windows 7 or Windows 10.
