Apple publishes a list of the Top 25 app vulnerable to XcodeGhost

Apple has published the list of the most important applications, including those containing malware XcodeGhost or who have been recently content.

A few days ago we wrote that iOS was susceptible to malware because of some compromised versions of Xcode that circulate mainly in China. Then it was estimated that a potential volume of 500 million users could be at risk, with sudden actions that have been carried out in recent days to make less effective possible vulnerability discovery. Apple has released a list of 25 major applications of the store Chinese vulnerable to malware, those that essentially have the largest volume of users.

” Over the 25 most important applications, the number of users involved in the phenomenon drops dramatically, ” writes now the page, suggesting that other applications containing malware does not have a significant number of users. Apple did not specify the user base involved in the case some security companies have previously issued lists of dozens of potentially vulnerable applications, estimating a total of more than 200 applications with malware on the Chinese store.
