Thanks to the new and elegant interface, WeChat for Android allows you to move more easily from one function to another and socialize with friends wherever you are.
The menu bar is now positioned more comfortably at the top of the screen, giving you quick access to your favorite functions. Just a touch to navigate through WeChat with ease thanks to the new look and feel of the application.
- The Chat allows you to see the latest conversations with friends.
- See the section show the functions Moments, Scan QR Code, Shake, People close, Bottle adrift, Games and Shop Stickers.
- The Contacts section allows you to directly open the address book.

Easily add friend’s thanks to Find a friend.
With a single touch, find a friend of WeChat allows you to search other users WeChat nearby and add them to your contact list. It ‘s so easy to stay in touch and is the ideal solution for sharing information in a group chat. Just press the ” + ” button on the menu bar> Add Contacts> Find a friend.
Meet friends easily using the geolocation real time.
Inviting friends to share their location in real time, you’ll never have to worry that someone might lose. You can help them navigate around the map and WeChat through a walkie-talkie integrated session. Just open a chat> press ” + ” > Location> ” Real-time position ” > View a map with the location of your friend.
Locate any photo in a group chat with the new Photo Album.
All photos shared in a group chat will now be saved in an album of easy access, without the need to scroll through the history to find your favorite photos. Just open an image in a chat group> press the icon at the bottom right.
Find Any Chat or contact quickly with Advanced Search.
Do not worry if you have forgotten an important appointment or a name written in a chat. With the Advanced Search feature of WeChat for Android, you can quickly see any message or contact by typing it into the search field of a chat board.
Customize your contacts list.
This update provides the ability to complete your friend’s profiles, photos, addresses, and business cards. Just follow the instructions below.
Localization and free stickers.
Liven up any conversation and make your friends laugh by sending them WeChat stickers from the shop. There are always new ones to share! ( Emoticat, Chewyhams, Dog Series, Frog and Horse and more! )

- Notifications of mention in the group chat – you will receive a special notification when your name is mentioned in a group chat.
