Dell and Alienware, here are the new UltraSharp monitors and gaming models
Three monitors and a professional panel for presentations among Dell’s top multimedia announcements by Dell. Here are some details about the new models.
On the occasion of CES 2020, Dell announced the new commercial monitors and a new Alienware model for gaming. The models are, specifically, Dell UltraSharp 27 4K (U2720Q) and Dell UltraSharp 43 4K (U4320Q) and Alienware 25 Gaming Monitor. We then have a maxi-panel with professional purposes: Dell 86 4K Interactive Touch Monitor (C8621QT).
Dell UltraSharp 27 4K (U2720Q)
Dell UltraSharp 27 4K is a monitor with 4K Ultra HD resolution, equal to 3840×2160 pixels, and USB Type-C connector. It is a model designed for productivity thanks to the various features and USB ports (also Type-A) present and with a very high color fidelity (the manufacturer declared a Delta-E<2).
The manufacturer declares a 99% coverage of the sRGB gamut triangle and 95% for the more extensive DCI-P3, with VESA DisplayHDR400 certification and a contrast ratio of 1300:1. The USB Type-C port on the monitor can be power an external device with a maximum of 90W, even with the computer turned off thanks to the Always On Power Delivery technology.
Thanks also to the compact support and the small bezels, the monitor is designed to offer a diagonal that is as wide as possible (27″ in this case) in the smallest space. Dell declares a maximum luminance of 350nit and a viewing angle of 178° (both horizontal and vertical) thanks to the use of the IPS panel. The response times are 5ms GtG in ” Fast ” mode, 8ms in normal mode.
Dell UltraSharp 43 4K (U4320Q)
Perhaps even more interesting, but certainly more inches, is the 42.5-inch model, the first on the market – according to the notes released by the manufacturer – with this diagonal and with the possibility of correcting the support in height. Dell UltraSharp 43 4K (U4320Q) boasts features similar to those of the 27 ” model, albeit with a much wider diagonal.
To take full advantage of it, there is the possibility of connecting four source devices simultaneously: with the PbP mode, it is then possible to divide the screen into four and simultaneously view the contents of the four sources. We have a 350nit luminance and 96% coverage regarding the sRGB standard with a contrast ratio of 1000:1. Viewing angles and latencies are the same: 178° and 5ms in Fast mode.

Alienware 25 Gaming Monitor
Available from March 11, 2020, the Alienware 25 Gaming Monitor is a gaming display that mixes the viewing angles of the integrated IPS panel with a very high refresh rate: 240Hz. It offers 99% coverage of the sRGB gamut triangle and native Full HD resolution, in a panel with reduced frames on three sides. Alienware 25 Gaming Monitor also supports AMD FreeSync and nVidia G-Sync technologies.
The monitor uses a specific design for the stand, designed to insert a keyboard, while the chassis has a specific ventilation system and holes to ensure high performance. It is also aimed at professional players and has been tested by Team Liquid eSport players and others. The monitor uses the Legend design language and an AlienFX lighting system, which can be specifically programmed based on any events that occur during gameplay.
Among the integrated tools, we have the on-screen display, specific customization options, and also a counter for the frames per second to verify real-time performance.
Dell 86 4K Interactive Touch Monitor (C8621QT)
Dell 86 4K Interactive Touch Monitor (C8621QT) is a huge professional monitor with touch-screen support for up to 20 interactions simultaneously. Supports 4K Ultra HD resolution natively for the 85.6″ panel, with IPS technology, and implements two 20W speakers. Supports the reduction of blue lights through ComfortView technology and can be used with a stylus pen that can be magnetically attached to one of the sides.
Here too we find a USB Type-C port with Power Delivery, while in the rear, we have a Dell OptiPlex Micro PC where you can upload your business solutions in a simple way in order to adhere to the standards and security services used inside of the company’s offices.
