A bit controversial choice of Apple to introduce the new iPhone 6S cut minimum 16 GB of integrated storage. Just do a quick calculation to figure out to fill the basic version takes only 30 minutes of 4K video.
The new family of iPhone integrates new features very attractive: 3D touch, a new hardware platform and a higher-resolution camera that records 4K video heavy. - 92 minutes of video at 1080p @ 30fps.
- 60 minutes of video at 1080p @ 60fps.
- 32 minutes of video at 4K @ 30fps.
All this, we repeat, with no application or photos stored on the device. It is clear that, in the light of the latest technology, 16 GB of integrated storage are not enough to make a device to its fullest possibilities. Just also consider that many applications employing almost 100 MB flash drive and have a natural tendency to grow after just a few uses, while there are also some heavy games on the store gigabytes.
Sure, on the one hand, it is true that the cloud can be useful and it is also true that iOS 9 is able to streamline the ” weight ” of the applications on the disk with the APIs that are entered directly on the operating system; but on the other, we have to admit that Apple has remained virtually the only manufacturer among the most renowned, to offer a high-end smartphone with a minimum size of 16 GB of integrated storage.
