How to load your music on iTunes

ITunes is very easy to download audio and video content, in fact, you can transfer music to iTunes in three different ways.

The first way is to copy an entire audio CD or part of it on our player. The second way is to get music and video already on your computer, and the third and final way is to purchase new content from the iTunes Store. Let’s see how for each of the following ways.

  • First let’s see how to import music and videos on your computer directly to your iTunes library. You can import a single file or an entire folder of content. I remind you that you can add media files of different extensions so mp3, wma, wav, aac, and so on. Let’s see how to do it practically: the first thing you open iTunes, click on ” Archive/File ” menu and select the following menu item: MAC: ” Add to Library ” and Windows ” Add to Library files ” or ” Add Folder to the library “. Now select the file or folder to add to the library and iTunes automatically copies the file to the ” iTunes Media ” (if you want you can choose a different one), even in this case after the import of you can listen to the songs.
  • Finally, we see how to add music files to iTunes by importing from audio CD. First, we insert the CD into the optical (CD or DVD player) of your computer. If your computer is connected to the Internet, then iTunes will automatically download all the information on the CD, the information that will relate to the artist’s name, the name of the CD and release year and tracks it contains.
  • Now it will open a dialog box asking you if you want to import songs from the CD inserted in the optical drive, answer it if you want to import them all and answer no if you want to select just one, at this point select the songs you want to import and click on in the bottom right corner ” Import CD “. Without this, you will be shown the progress of the import for each song. When all songs have been imported, you can start listening to them.
  • As a third is last chance we can add music files to our library are also buying them from the iTunes Store in the Music section. This are the three possible options to import media files in our iTunes library. I only wish you good job.
