Motorola Moto E6S: New smartphone for those with a reduced budget
The new Motorola Moto E6S is a smartphone for those who have a reduced budget but don’t want to give up on some features such as the dual rear camera. Here are the information and technical characteristics of this new model.
Motorola (which recently launched the Moto G8) has announced the low-end Android smartphone E6S dedicated mainly to an audience of very young kids (and on a small budget). Its purpose is to provide a model that is both economical and with some peculiarities such as the dual rear camera.
From Motorola, a child’s smartphone
The new Motorola Moto E6S has a MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762) SoC that uses an octa-core structure with 2 GHz Cortex-A53 core. The integrated GPU is instead of an IMG GE8320 with a frequency of 650 MHz; the RAM amounts to 2 GB while the storage is from 32 GB expandable up to 256 GB with microSD.
The front screen of Motorola Moto E6S has a diagonal of 6.1″ with Max Vision format (19.5: 9) with an IPS panel that has an HD+ resolution of 1,560 x 720 pixels and a density of 282 PPI.
In the rear area, we find a dual camera: the main one reaches 13 MPixel (aperture of f/2.2) with PDAF focus, which is flanked by a depth sensor that allows you to obtain better bokeh / blurred effects. The front camera is 5 MPixel with an aperture of f/2.2. In both cases, you can shoot videos up to an FHD resolution at 30 fps.
Other features report the presence of a fingerprint sensor in the rear area, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, support for 4G, 3G, 2G, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11n, GPS/AGPS/GLONASS and the possibility of having both single SIM and dual SIM versions. There is no NFC support for 5 GHz Wi-Fi; there are only one microphone and a single speaker.
The dimensions of Motorola Moto E6S are equal to 155.6 x 73.0 x 8.5 mm, with a weight of 160 grams. The construction is made of plastic material, while the design is resistant to splashing water (not immersion). There are two colors: Peacock Blue and Sunrise Red, while the operating system is Android 9.
