New iMac Retina – First clues in Mac OS X Yosemite

The new iMac comes with Retina display will arrive shortly on the market. These are the first rumors that come from the new Mac OS X Yosemite.

The developer preview, which was released a few days ago, includes a file that defines most likely the resolution of future iMac.

Going to see the details of the file in Yosemite, we note that this is equal to the maximum resolution to 6,400 x 3,600 pixels or 3,200 x 1,800 HiDPI climbing. The latter, according to the latest rumors, it would be the choice for the future version of the iMac 27-inch. In the document, there are also resolutions 5,760 x 3,240, 2,880 x 1,620 alias, and 4,096 x 2,304 or 2,048 x 1,152 HiDPI.

Already today, the new MacBook Pro 15-inch Retina offers a native resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 pixels and it is obvious to think of an iMac with higher resolution. Although it is still too early to argue that the new iMac Retina debut in the coming weeks, the resolutions in the file of Mac OS X Yosemite is an important clue.
