Samsung Galaxy A7: Octa-core aluminum Unibody and 6.3mm thick
After a long series of rumors, Galaxy A7 was officially announced by Samsung. It is a device of the medium-high very interesting in terms of design. Samsung Galaxy A7 complete family Galaxy A that Samsung had unveiled last October by announcing two devices to be medium-low, Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5.
A distinctive feature of the series is the careful design with very good quality compared to a list price relatively very low, achieved thanks to some compromise in terms of technical specifications.
Does not deviate from these rules, the new Samsung Galaxy A7, the top range of the family from the list price – so it promises Samsung – very competitive compared to other proposals of direct competition. Starting from the design, the device uses a monocoque aluminum metal only 6.3 mm thick which makes it possible to stop the scales at only 141 g, feature remarkable when you consider the large display.
Samsung has once again chosen SuperAMOLED proprietary technology based on organic LEDs inside the panel from 5.5 ” to Full HD resolution. Of the device will be marketed various versions: with single and double slot for the SIM card and with two different processors: Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 64-bit and Exynos 5430 32-bit, both octa-core architecture.
The Qualcomm SoC uses two quad-core CPU architecture-based Cortex-A53, respectively 1.5 and 1.0GHz, while the model driven by processor Exynos adopts two quad-core Cortex-A15 and A7, respectively, 1.8 GHz and 1 .3 GHz. On both versions will find 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of integrated storage expandable via microSD memory card. The rest of the technical specifications brings two cameras, 13 and 5 MP, and compatibility with LTE networks Cat. 4.
The Samsung Galaxy A7 pre-installed version of Android will be the 4.4 KitKat, but Samsung warns to be already working on porting the latest Lollipop, probably arriving in the coming months. The whole is powered by a battery from 2,600 mAh, on paper a little undersized in relation to the remaining specifications of the device, to which Samsung compromise is reached due, probably, to maintain low production costs of the smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy A7 will be available in dark blue, white and gold to a ” price range ” competitive by the end of March. The smartphone is clearly Samsung’s answer to the growing success of the counter on the Chinese smartphone market: were disappointing last quarterly of the Koreans and the family Galaxy A could represent a valid response before trying to feed the company’s revenue with the devices proposed above to the masses.
