ASUS Zenfone Selfie with front camera 13mp and dual LED flash

ASUS at Computex 2015 in Taipei participates with a smartphone designed for photography: the two front and rear modules integrate a 13-megapixel sensor with features and advanced technologies.

As for the world of smartphones, ASUS attends at Computex 2015 in Taipei with a device that addresses one of the most massive trend of the moment, that of selfie. And it does so with a smartphone apparently very nice on the front photo, naturally also and above all as far as the front module.

Until a few years ago, it was enough to integrate any camera on the front for making video calls any possible, even at low resolution, now the front end has become just as important as (perhaps even more so for the purposes of marketing) and rear, with features exclusive ad-hoc designed for the best possible self-timer.

ASUS enters the world of so-called selfie-phone with a product equipped with two cameras very similar: both using a sensor 1/3.2″ pixelmaster 13 megapixel (manufactured by Toshiba) with dual LED flash Real Tone. They are rather different the objectives, lenses with f/2.0 for the rear module, and f/2.2 with wider viewing angle for the front one.

If normally the viewing angle of the front is 88°, with the Panorama Mode, you can be expanded further, with selfie that can cover up to 140°. With Zenfone Selfie, ASUS uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 615 octa-core 64-bit, then betraying his loyalty to the Atom CPU from Intel.

ASUS enters the world of selfie-phone in a striking, as he had done well with his HTC Desire EYE. The front camera has the same quality of the back, to respond in the best way possible to current fashion increasingly prevalent on social. Availability and price have not yet been officially announced.
