Microsoft aligns the version of Office dedicated to Macs with the suite already available for other platforms. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and Outlook support collaboration tools, and integrate OneDrive now have new graphics.

Since yesterday evening is available for download a renewed version of Office for Mac OS X-based systems: this is a preview version, and the news is not trivial.

According to information collected online by those who have already got their hands on the new Office 2016 for Mac, this version aligns the current release available for Windows systems.

In Office 2016 are implemented collaboration capabilities to which we are already used on other platforms: multiple users can make changes to the same document, even if the changes are not available in real time but marked by a special icon.

Remaining in collaboration is important to note that Office 2016 for Mac integrates with OneDrive, OneDrive for Business and SharePoint.

Even at the interface the new versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and Outlook provide a clearer layout, clean and exploiting the now famous Ribbon interface.
