Acer officially announces the new Iconia One 8 and Iconia Tab 10

During the last few hours at a specially organized event in the New York, Acer has officially announced all new products in its range. including the new tablet Iconia One 8 and Iconia Tab 10.

Just during the last few hours was held in New York that a press conference in which Acer wanted to show to the media all its new products with regard to the range 2015. Among them a number of new PCs, Laptop and Ultrabook made of various types of products, all with the Windows operating system 8.1.

No lack of novelty but also from the point of view of the products related to the world’s most extreme portability, such as tablets. There are two new models announced, which are called Iconia One 8 and Iconia Tab 10.

The new tablet Iconia One 8 features an 8-inch display diagonal resolution 1,280 x 800. It is a display that boasts IPS technology Zero Air Gap of which it owns Acer. Then we find an Intel Atom processor quad-core processor, 1 GB of RAM and 16 or 32 GB of internal memory dedicated to storage. The tablet in question is equipped with Android OS in the latest version Lollipop.

To mention the technology Acer Precision Plus that allows a more precise operation thanks to a system of touch recognition more accurate. The rest of the data sheet does not differ much compared to the solution currently in the 8-inch range, indeed, from the specifications released the new tablet seems to be even bulkier and heavier than its predecessor.

Same thing with regard Iconia Tab 10. Announced as a product specifically geared to the Education, the new 10-inch tablet the Taiwanese manufacturer offers a display with a diagonal of, precisely, 10.1-inch 1,920 x 1,200 pixel resolution, protected by a glass type Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

Within the body, there is also in this case an Intel quad-core able to better manage the interface and the operations of multitasking. Processor accompanied by 2 GB of RAM and LPDDR3 from 16, 32 or 64 GB of internal memory (expandable via microSD).

It lacks support NFC that allows sharing between groups of people the configuration of your tablet. In this way, inserted in a school context, the tablet can be easily managed, for example, by the professor.

As Iconia One 8 are not actually many changes from the previous version of the tablet and, indeed, the size and weight appear again improved from the 10-inch model currently on the market.

Acer Iconia One 8 will be available in selected markets from April. Acer Iconia Tab 10 will be available from the month of May.
