Spro Plus: Android tablet with built-in video projector of ZTE

ZTE proposes a small projector, which combines Google Android operating system to a 8.8-inch touch display: a working tool and personal entertainment, on sale from next summer.

ZTE at Mobile World Congress presents an evolution of its smart projectors family, products that integrate an internal projector with an active type display: it is, like the models Spro and Spro 2 of a small projector that mounts in the top housing a touch screen.

Spro Plus is the name of this new product, of course, focused on the Google Android operating system thanks to the integration of touch screen 8.4-inch diagonal with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. Drive a small tablet and a projector requires a high-capacity battery, and this is what ZTE has implemented: well 12,100 mAh, can ensure high usage times of up to 6 hours of continuous play.

The projector is capable of projecting an image up to 80 inches diagonal, from a distance of 2.4 meters with WXGA resolution (1,280×768 pixels); The used DLP technology allows to ensure a brightness of 500 lumens, while the integrated stereo audio subsystem developed by JBL audio system has a maximum of 4 watts sufficient to soundproof sized environments suitable for the maximum diagonal projection power.

ZTE indicates the use of a SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon family 810\625, matched to 3 Gbytes of the system and to a local storage variable from a minimum of 32 Gbytes memory to a maximum of 128 Gbytes. The overall dimensions are equal to 228.8 x 150 x 24.8 mm, total contained except for the required thickness by both the projector lens is from the large battery.

Spro Plus will be available in Wi-Fi only version as well as 4G LTE; The sale is expected from summer to a list not yet announced by the company.
